Serge Fortier
ATPL Program Manager
ATPL, Class 1 FI
Serge Fortier brings a rare, end-to-end perspective to aviation, shaped by decades of experience on both sides of the cockpit door. A seasoned airline captain, Class 1 flight instructor, and licensed Avionics AME, Serge’s career reflects a deep respect for precision, safety, and operational excellence.
His flying career spans regional, charter, cargo, and international airline operations, culminating in command roles on modern jet aircraft. Along the way, he has operated in complex airspace, high-density environments, special use operations, and trans-Atlantic routes, developing a calm, methodical approach to decision-making under pressure. As a chief pilot and instructor, he has also played a key role in training, mentoring, and standardizing flight crews, helping organizations build strong safety cultures from the ground up.
Complementing his time in the flight deck, Serge’s foundation as an avionics AME provides a systems-level understanding that is uncommon among career pilots. His hands-on experience with aircraft maintenance, certification, testing, and troubleshooting—ranging from large transport-category aircraft to business and special-mission platforms—gives him a practical appreciation for how design, maintenance, and operations intersect in the real world.
This dual background allows Serge to bridge the gap between flight operations and technical disciplines, bringing clarity, pragmatism, and credibility to every project he supports. Whether flying, teaching, or advising, he is driven by a commitment to professionalism, continuous improvement, and doing things the right way—every time.
