Low Fuel Burn

The aircraft is powered by the highly reliable 100-horsepower Continental O-200-A engine. It burns just 5 to 6 gallons per hour (GPH) of Avgas. At 2026 fuel prices, this translates to an incredibly low direct hourly fuel cost. 

Excellent Visibility

Because the wings sit directly on top of the fuselage, the pilot enjoys a completely unobstructed view of the ground below the aircraft.During airport traffic patterns, the pilot spends a major portion of the flight banking to look for other aircraft below them. In a high-wing design, turning the aircraft drops the wing on the inside of the turn, instantly opening up an excellent view of the runway environment and any lower-altitude traffic traffic operating on the downwind, base, or final legs.Cessna introduced a wrap-around rear window layout marketed as "Omni-Vision." This modification eliminated the blind spot directly behind the cockpit cabin

The airframe is exceptionally durable, utilizing a redesigned tubular steel landing gear system engineered specifically to absorb the frequent and often "hard" nose-first or heavy landings associated with early student training

Is this aircraft Spin certified

Yes, C150 is legally certified to practice Spins which is a mandatory manouvere prior to solo and for CPL flight test. Due to its low Gross-weight, there is no restriction on being low fuel unlike the C172 models.

Can this aircraft fly during Winter period for Training

Absolutely. The C150 is well‑suited for winter operations. With proper operational adjustments to manage cold-soaked equipment and ensure pilot safety like:

                1) pre‑heating procedures

               2) cold‑weather protocols,etc 

The aircraft performs reliably throughout the winter season, allowing students to continue training year‑round.

What type of training is C150 used for

The C172 is used for a wide range of ab‑initio,intermediate training and advanced training, including:

Most students complete their majority of PPL and CPl in this aircrfaft. Especially due to the low cost, it is majorly flown for time building int he CPL stage.
